AAPL price target is optimistic

You probably read and heard a lot debates and discussions recently about Apple's share price decline and its price target.

Here is a summary of 17 recent price targets for AAPL.

As you can see, it is not so bad. Here is the summary from this list:

Average price target (the average we all know): $739
Median price target (the number in the middle of the list): $725
Mode price target (the number that is the most given): $750

Today, AAPL share price is about $506.
If you take the median price target given ($725), it is an increase of about 43 points!

Apple will announce its 2013 Q1 (Christmas quarter) results on January 23rd, after the market closes.
A lot of rumors and "contradictory analysis" and misinformation is circulating on the web right now:
- Apple will have its best quater
- Apple will announce results below Wall Steet estimates
- Apple will announce results above Wall Street estimates
- Apple market share for mobile has increased
- Apple market share for mobile has decreased...
- Apple is not as popular as before
- Apple's products demand is still very high

Well... you can read a lot good and bad stuff about Apple right now (on Insider Monkey, Valuewalk, Motley Fool etc.). Most of the time, you find one information on one day and its opposite the next day.

Here is what I think (if it interests someone lol):
- I can't tell what information is right or wrong.
- All I know is that I see more and more people with IPhones and IPads around me.
- Nexus / Samsung phones are too huge in my opinion. They look like teenagers'phones. If you are a sexy lady, get an IPhone... Samsung and Nexus will make your ass look big! It reminds me the size of the first game boys!
On the contrary, if you have some kind of complex or whatever, then yes get a big Samsung / Nexus hahaha.
- I have friends with both IPhones / IPads and its competitors phones and tablets. Each time I compare them, Apple's products are nicer, better user interface, nice screen transitions and less buggy. For instance Wifi works very well on my IPad and on my friend's HTC tablet, it keeps disconnecting.
- I used to own an Android phone... (LG) and I wanted  to throw it away. Screen is ugly, touch screen is harsh, and it took forever to load videos and emails... I don't know why (over Wifi or 3G).
- I am not an Apple only partisan... but from what I experienced they seem to produce the best quality products (at least for me and my usage).
- Price is higher for Apple products, but you can expect some guarantee, quality and people are ready to pay for that.
- From what I understand and see, I think the current share price is a bargain. And I believe that Apple will rich $700 and more soon. Apple is hiring like crazy (I know a few recruiters, engineers and a senior manager there), their products are really good, price is not so expensive if you think about the usage you will make of it every day! Their user interface is simple yet very efficient and smooth. People like and trust this brand.
- I know I am giving a lot compliments to Apple. Androids based phones and tablets have a lot of good points too (but I don't want to get into details now, they are more affordable, open source, etc. etc.)
